Dr Nasrullah helps train other opthalmologists in training to perform comples ocular surgery and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Opthalmology at George Washington University. Dr. Nasrullah completed his Bachelors of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and received an academic scholarship to attend medical school at the University of Tennessee.  He then was awarded only one of three positions at the Dean McGee Eye Institute and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Institute.  Dr. Nasrullah went on to do an additional fellowship in Corneal Diseases and Refractive (Vision Corrective surgery) at the Dean McGee Eye Institute.  After completing his training, Dr. Nasrullah spent one year practicing at the Washington Hospital Center where he instructed resident physicians with ocular surgery and worked in private practice. Samala Khan, O.D. Dr. Samala Khan joined our practice in September 2005.  Dr. Khan received her undergraduate education at Virginia Polytechnic and State University.  She then received her doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in Boston.  She completed her residency training in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Illinois.  Her specialties include contact lenses, and primary medical management.  Dr. Khan’s professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association, the AOA Contact Lens Section, and Virginia Optometric Association.
